Music
While most of my career has been made doing video production, music is something that has always been in the background for me. I first learned to play saxophone when I was ten and have just kept learning. At this point, I can now play about a dozen instruments with moderate competence. But the real turning point for me came back in the mid-90's when I got my hands on my first digital audio software. I can still remember that night when everything finally clicked into place and I finally grasped the potential.
As I have had numerous and distinct influences and inspiration, I preferred to operate under monikers to keep the sound consistent for each identity. This has also guided the approach that I have to composition as it helps me keep focused on particular aesthetic goals.

The Fink Ploy
Recently, I have started using guitar a lot more in my song writing. And, I've also been tackling more complex drums. Well, at least for me. The result has been something that is more rock oriented but still has a very different feel from a lot of the stuff that I was doing under the "Original Skin" project. So, I've decided to branch this out as a separate identity.
