Dust and a Shadow

For a handful of years, I worked collaboratively with friend of mine.  We would improv for a little while.  Then he would take the best parts of that session and sculpt them into songs that we would later do in proper session recordings.  We also had a pretty strict guideline that all of the songs had to be very story driven.  In most cases, we were drawing pretty heavily from horror fiction from the 1920's.  Cuz, all the kids dig that sort of jazz.
